NEWS / UPCOMING EVENTS
Lighthouse Inn Triathlon/Duathlon
Sunday May 30th
Once again we are looking forward to holding this annual event
in Belle River. This is a great early season event. Each year we have
seen our numbers expand and this year we plan on working with a group
of people from the Belle River area that are committed to helping this
event grow and in turn they will ensure the future existence of this
event each year. While it is early, the water temperature has not
been a problem in the past and we have experienced great weather
each year.

For the first time the first two hours where filled up and even our last hour was well attended. Event:
5KM SPRING THAW
One of the area's longest running events had a great day to host
this 5KM run. Gary Belanger and his staff at The Running
Factory once again made this opening event to the running season a huge
success with 550 adults and kids participating. The Hospice is grateful to
Gary as he has been hosting this event for close to 20 year's now and through
their efforts they have raised $100,000 to help The Hospice offer their services
free of charge to the people of Essex County.
